For some reason this piece speaks out to me more than some of the others I have seen you create. An abstract thought/emotion that I can't put my finger on. I think it's because I can relate so easily to the piece through your description? That's it. A wonderful creation.

Very beautiful! I love how the dark colors seem to overwhelm and smother the lighter colors; like the dark shades are love which is consuming the light shades which is you as a person. Or something to that effect at least in my mind. And the irony is that I was actually talking to my best friend about love last night. A guy she dated a few years back is trying to get back in her life and claims that he loves her and can't live without her even though he treated her like crap. And she told me "It's crazy huh? Those years ago, I would have come crawling back to him like a dog for just a scrap of affection. But now that I'm older and wiser, I don't feel anything for him. And I wonder how I did in the first place." It's just amazing how you really can lose yourself in love and are blind to the flaws of that person. But anyway I'm babbling Wonderful work as always!

I like your description. And the story of your friend is what I meant by it. What you said about the darkness absorbing the light is very accurate. Some men (and women) are just vampires. It is great that your friend has grown from that situation.
